The Maritime Safety and Security Law Journal (MarSafeLaw Journal) welcomes submissions that highlight recent and significant developments in the field of maritime safety and security. The Journal publishes papers from various legal perspectives, notably the law of the sea, environmental law, immigration law, human rights law, international criminal law, and similar sectors. Special emphasis is placed on contemporary issues, timely legal decisions, new legislation, and current law reform proposals in the realm of maritime safety and security. The Editorial Board recognises the importance of diverse voices and supporting the next generation of scholars; we therefore encourage submissions by early career academics and from all regions of the world.

Potential contributors are encouraged to submit the following types of manuscripts:
• Comments on legal decisions, legislation or regulations at the national, regional (especially European) or international level: 2,000 – 5,000 words, including footnotes
• Articles: 6,000 – 10,000 words, including footnotes
• Short submissions (e.g. book review or topical opinion piece): 1,000 – 3,000 words

We invite you to submit an abstract of the manuscript (300 words) to info@marsafelawjournal.org. Please include the following information: author name(s) and affiliation(s), the type of manuscript, and the projected word count. The abstract should also clearly indicate the timeliness of the topic and its suitability for the Journal. Please consult www.marsafelawjournal.org/authors/authors-guidelines for more information.
